Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Titanium Black 1000GB

The S25 Ultra is Samsung's best phone yet, with a 200MP camera and Snapdragon 8 Elite performance that sit at the very top of our charts. Battery life is excellent, the display is gorgeous, and 1TB of storage is a dream for photographers. It's expensive and lacks a headphone jack, but if you want the best Android slab phone, this is it.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy is a monster. Clocked at 4.47GHz with 12GB of RAM, this phone chews through everything from 8K video exports to heavy multitasking without breaking a sweat. It's in the 98th percentile for performance in our database, meaning it's basically tied for the fastest phone you can buy. The 5000mAh battery backs that up nicely, landing in the 97th percentile and easily lasting a full day even with heavy use. Charging at 45W wired is solid, though not class-leading. The one weak spot is connectivity, which sits at a surprisingly average 59th percentile. It's not bad, just not the standout the rest of the phone is.

Stacked against the iPhone 17, the S25 Ultra pulls ahead on camera versatility and that S Pen, but Apple still wins on ecosystem lock-in and video polish. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the newer sibling, and it's the one to watch if you want the latest and greatest, though it costs more for the privilege. The Google Pixel 10 Pro brings cleaner software and a smarter camera experience, but it can't match Samsung's raw performance. If you want the no-compromise slab phone, the S25 Ultra is still the one to beat.

At $1560, the S25 Ultra is a premium phone with a premium price tag. You're getting top-tier performance, a best-in-class camera, and a stunning display, plus 1TB of storage which sweetens the deal for photographers and media hoarders. It's not a bargain, but it's not pretending to be. If you want the absolute best Android experience and plan to keep this phone for 4-5 years, the cost per year starts to make sense. Just know you're paying for the peak, not the value sweet spot.

Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra is the kitchen sink of smartphones. It's got a massive 6.9-inch AMOLED display that hits 2600 nits, a 200MP camera system that lands in the 98th percentile of our database, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip that absolutely flies. If you're coming from a Note 20 Ultra or S21 Ultra, this thing will feel like a time machine from the future.

But at $1560, it's not for everyone. The headphone jack is gone, there's no expandable storage, and it's a hefty 218g slab of titanium and glass. Still, for power users who want the best screen, best camera, and a built-in S Pen, this is the Android phone to beat right now.

If you need a headphone jack or expandable storage, look elsewhere because Samsung stripped both from this model. Also, if you want a compact phone, this 6.9-inch, 218g slab is the opposite of that. The S25 Ultra scores a dismal 63.5 out of 100 for compactness, so anyone with smaller hands or a hatred of two-handed typing should probably grab a Pixel or a base Galaxy S25 instead.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is for the person who wants everything. You want the best camera, the best display, the S Pen for notes and doodles, and enough storage to never think about deleting a photo again. It's overkill for casual users, but if you're upgrading from a phone that's 3+ years old, the jump is massive. Buy it if you want the pinnacle of Samsung's engineering and don't mind paying for it.
