Факти
Performance
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy clocked at 4.74GHz is an absolute monster. Our database puts this thing in the top 1% of all phones for raw performance, and it shows. App switching is instant, 8K video at 30fps renders without breaking a sweat, and graphic-intensive games run buttery smooth. The 200MP main camera is also best-in-class, landing in the 99th percentile. What surprised us most is how well the 5000mAh battery holds up despite all that power. It's not just fast, it's efficient.

vs Competition
Against the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the S26 Ultra wins on camera versatility and that privacy display, but Apple still has the smoother software experience. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is the smarter buy if you want AI features without the Samsung bloat. And the OnePlus 15 undercuts it on price while getting close on performance. The Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 is a different beast entirely, a foldable for people who want pocketability over raw power.

Value & Pricing
At $1,750 USD, this is not a value purchase. It's a statement. You're paying for the best camera, the best performance, and a privacy feature nobody else has. If you keep phones for three or four years, the cost per day gets less painful. But if you're upgrading every year, this is a luxury tax.

Overview
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is Samsung throwing everything at the wall and most of it sticking. The headline feature is the world's first built-in privacy display, which dims the screen for anyone not looking at it straight on. It's a genuinely useful trick for commuters and anyone who types passwords in public. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy and 16GB of RAM make this the most powerful phone we've tested this cycle.
Common Questions
Q: Does this phone come with a stylus?
Yes, the S26 Ultra includes the S Pen, just like previous Ultra models. It's tucked into the bottom of the phone.
Q: Does this phone have wireless charging capability?
Yep, it supports 25W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, so you can top up your earbuds or a friend's phone in a pinch.
Q: Are there any AI features for photo editing?
Tons. Photo Assist lets you type or tap to remove objects, fix bitten food, or even add objects from your gallery that blend in with the scene's lighting and shadows.
Who Should Skip This
If you want a compact phone, this isn't it. The S26 Ultra is a two-handed device at 213g, and our data shows it scores poorly for compactness. Go get a Pixel 9 Pro or a standard Galaxy S26 instead. If you're on a budget, the OnePlus 15 gets you 90% of the performance for a lot less cash.
Verdict
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is the best Android phone you can buy right now, full stop. The privacy display is a real innovation, the camera is unmatched, and the performance is absurd. If you can stomach the price and the size, there's nothing else like it.
