Performance
We didn't expect much from the 4-core Celeron N150, our benchmarks place it in the bottom 7% of all CPUs tested. Unsurprisingly, the NiaBook scored a miserable 13/100 for gaming, so any modern 3D title is off the table. But here's what surprised us: paired with 16GB of RAM, it handled everyday productivity without stuttering. Word, Excel, Chrome with a dozen tabs, and YouTube all ran smoothly. The IPS display is decent, though colors are a bit washed out. Just don't push it with photo editing or heavy multitasking; that Celeron will tap out fast.

vs Competition
At this price point, the NiaBook goes up against Chromebooks like the Acer Chromebook Plus 515, which offers a similar large screen but only 128GB of storage and a ChromeOS limitation. The other Windows alternative is the Acer Aspire 5 with a Ryzen 3, which will run circles around the Celeron in raw compute but typically ships with a measly 256GB SSD. If local storage and multitasking headroom matter more than CPU grunt, the FUNYET is the clear winner.

Value & Pricing
At roughly $410, the value proposition is shockingly good if your workflow centers on documents, web browsing, and media consumption. You simply can't find a new laptop with 1TB of speedy SSD and 16GB RAM at this price anywhere else. It's a fantastic second machine for a student or a budget office laptop. Just know that the low price comes from that weak CPU and okay build.

Overview
Don't call it a gaming laptop. The FUNYET NiaBook NY-08 might list "gaming" in its Amazon title, but with a Celeron N150 and integrated graphics that rank near the bottom of our database, this thing will choke on anything beyond decade-old titles. But here's the twist: it's still one of the best value buys we've seen for basic work and school. For around $400, you get a bright 16-inch 1920x1200 IPS screen, a backlit keyboard, a massive 1TB SSD, and a properly generous 16GB of DDR4 RAM. That's more storage and memory than some $800 laptops. If you need a big-screen beater for spreadsheets, streaming, and 20 browser tabs, this underdog is hard to ignore.
Common Questions
Q: Can this laptop really play games?
No. It'll handle very light 2D titles or classics like RuneScape, but anything from the last decade will be a slideshow. If you want to game, look for a used laptop with a dedicated GPU like a GTX 1650 or better.
Q: Is the 6000mAh battery enough for a full day of classes?
It depends. With light use you might get 5-6 hours, but streaming or multitasking will drain it faster. Bring your charger, this isn't an all-day machine.
Q: Does it include Microsoft Office permanently?
It likely comes with a trial of Office 365 that'll expire. You'll need a subscription or a one-time purchase after that. Don't rely on it being free forever.
Who Should Skip This
If you're looking for a gaming laptop, skip this entirely. Grab a used Dell G15 or Acer Nitro 5 with a discrete GPU, even a GTX 1650 will be light-years ahead. If you need premium build quality and all-day battery, spend a little more on a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad. This is a storage monster, not a speed demon.
Verdict
For its intended audience, students, office workers, and anyone who values a massive local drive over processing power, the FUNYET NiaBook NY-08 is a champion of value. It's not a gaming laptop, no matter what the product page screams, and it won't handle any CPU-intensive tasks gracefully. But for $410, it'll ace your homework and Netflix binges without complaint. Buy it for the storage, not the speed.
