Pentax HD Pentax-D FA Macro D 100mm
The 100mm f/2.8 macro stands out as the first Pentax macro lens with all-weather AW dustproof, weather-resistant sealing, offering 1:1 magnification at a 5.1-inch minimum focus distance on full-frame. Quick-shift autofocus and a rounded eight-blade diaphragm complement ED elements and HD coating for sharp contrast and smooth bokeh in a trim 348g body using 49mm filters. It’s best for macro photographers who need a rugged, portable lens for close-up work in adverse conditions, though its portrait rendering scores poorly.
