You'll easily get through a day, and the 27W wired charging is a nice perk you don't always see on rugged phones.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max are in a different universe, costing four times as much and delivering flagship speed and cameras. A more interesting rival is the Google Pixel 10a. It's not rugged, but for a similar price you get a vastly better camera and smoother performance, though you'll need to baby it. The DuraSport's real competition is other rugged phones from CAT or Ulefone, but Kyocera's build quality here is top-notch.

At $200, the value is all about the armor. You're not paying for speed or a fancy screen. You're paying for a phone that laughs at a 5-foot drop. If that's your priority, it's a fair deal. If you want a smooth experience with social media and streaming, this feels overpriced for the chipset you get.
