Intel Core i7 7820X 8-core FCLGA2066
The 8-core, 16-thread design with a 4.3GHz boost clock and unlocked multiplier on the LGA 2066 socket provides strong multi-threaded throughput for its era. Its 140W TDP and quad-channel memory support offer a capable foundation for a high-end desktop workstation without stepping up to a more expensive platform. This processor is best for budget-conscious PC builders needing to upgrade an existing X299 system for moderate rendering and virtualization tasks.
