Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16" NP960XMB-KB1US Sapphire Blue 2024
The Snapdragon X Elite 12-core processor with 45 TOPS NPU powers AI features like Recall and Live Captions, paired with a 16-inch 3K AMOLED 120Hz touchscreen. Its 1.54kg weight and 39Wh battery make it portable, while Wi-Fi 7 and three USB-C ports cover connectivity. Best for developers and business users who want AI-assisted productivity in a lightweight Windows laptop, not for gaming.

The 30-Second Version
A productivity beast with a stunning OLED screen, but the weak GPU and small battery hold it back. Great for work, wrong for gaming.

Performance
The CPU here is top of the charts, literally the 100th percentile in our database. That Snapdragon X Elite chews through web browsing, office work, and even some light creative tasks without breaking a sweat. The real surprise is how cool and quiet it stays while doing it. But that integrated Adreno GPU is a weak spot, landing in the 28th percentile. Fine for streaming video, rough for anything beyond casual games.

vs Competition
The MacBook Pro M4 Pro is the obvious rival, and it beats the Book4 Edge on GPU muscle and battery life, but costs significantly more. The Microsoft Surface Laptop 7th Edition runs the same Snapdragon platform with a better keyboard and cleaner design, though Samsung counters with a superior OLED screen. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 and Lenovo Legion Pro 7i are in a completely different league for gaming, but they're heavier and lack the all-day ARM efficiency.

Value & Pricing
At $1,488, you're paying a premium for that Snapdragon X Elite and the OLED panel. If your workflow lives in a browser and Office apps, it's worth every penny. If you need real GPU power or run niche x86 software, your money goes further elsewhere.

Докладніше
Overview
The Galaxy Book4 Edge is Samsung betting big on ARM for Windows, and honestly, it mostly pays off. The Snapdragon X Elite inside is an absolute monster for everyday productivity, and that 16-inch 3K OLED screen is one of the best you can get on a laptop right now. But this is not a machine for everyone, and the gaming crowd should look elsewhere immediately.
Common Questions
Q: Can this run my old Windows apps?
Most mainstream apps now have ARM versions or run fine through emulation, but specialized or older software can be hit or miss. Check your must-have apps before buying.
Q: Is the battery life actually good?
The Snapdragon chip is efficient, but that 39Wh battery is small for a 16-inch 3K OLED. Expect a full workday with light use, but heavy streaming or brightness will drain it faster.
Q: Can I game on this?
Casual and cloud gaming are fine, but the integrated Adreno GPU is not built for modern AAA titles. If gaming matters, look at a laptop with a dedicated GPU.
Who Should Skip This
If you want to play modern games or run GPU-heavy creative software, this is not your laptop. Go grab an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 or Lenovo Legion Pro 7i instead. Also skip it if you rely on niche x86 software that hasn't been updated for ARM.
Verdict
The Galaxy Book4 Edge is a fantastic productivity laptop with a screen that will ruin other displays for you. Buy it for work, streaming, and that gorgeous OLED panel. Just don't expect it to be your gaming rig, and double-check that your essential apps play nice with ARM before you commit.
