Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ 12.4" SM-X810NZEEXAR Beige 2023

Great tablet, terrible listing. The hardware is top-tier, but a 90-day warranty and a 1-star rating make this refurb a no-go.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is no slouch, even if our database puts it in the middle of the pack for raw CPU and GPU scores. What surprised us is how well the 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage hold up for multitasking and creative work. The screen is the real star, sitting in the 94th percentile. It's bright, color-accurate, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel smooth. The battery is also a standout at 10,090mAh, easily landing in the top 10% of tablets we've tracked.

The iPad Pro M5 absolutely crushes this in raw performance and app selection, but you'll pay a lot more and the S Pen is better for note-taking than the Apple Pencil. The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is a solid Android alternative with a bigger battery and a more flexible kickstand, though its screen isn't as nice. The Microsoft Surface Pro 11 is the pick if you need a real laptop replacement, but it's heavier and pricier. For pure Android tablet value, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is a smarter buy if you don't need the S Pen.

At $650 USD, this is a tough sell. A new Galaxy Tab S9+ costs more, sure, but you get a full warranty and peace of mind. A refurb with a 90-day warranty and a single one-star review? That's not a deal, that's a dice roll. If you can find this tablet new or refurbished from Samsung directly with a better warranty, it's worth considering. This specific listing? Hard pass.

The Galaxy Tab S9+ is a weird one. On paper, this is a flagship Android tablet with a gorgeous 12.4-inch AMOLED screen, an S Pen in the box, and Samsung's whole Galaxy AI suite baked in. But this specific listing is a Geek Squad Certified Refurbished unit with a 90-day warranty and a customer rating of 1 out of 5. That's a red flag the size of the tablet itself. The hardware is legitimately great, but the buying experience here feels like a gamble.

If you're looking for a reliable daily driver with a real warranty, this isn't it. Go buy a new Galaxy Tab S9+ or an iPad Air instead. The 90-day warranty on a refurb with a one-star rating is a dealbreaker for anyone who needs this thing to just work.

The Galaxy Tab S9+ is a fantastic tablet trapped in a sketchy listing. The hardware deserves a recommendation, but this specific refurb with a 90-day warranty and a one-star rating does not. Buy it new, buy it from Samsung's own refurb program, or buy something else entirely.
