Here's the wild part: our database puts this lens in the 16th percentile for optical quality, which is rough. But actual owners and our own test shots tell a completely different story. Sharpness is excellent in the center and holds up well at the edges, chromatic aberration is barely there, and colors look natural. The SAM autofocus motor is quick and quiet for a lens this cheap, though it can occasionally hunt in dimmer light.
