Факты
Performance
The build quality is genuinely top-tier, magnesium alloy and weather sealing put it in the 98th percentile of our database. That EVF is also a standout, a detachable 3.69M-dot OLED that's one of the best we've seen. The 425-point autofocus system is solid for a medium format camera, but it's not going to track a toddler sprinting across a park. The real surprise is how well the sensor holds up against newer full frame flagships. It's not the newest chip on the block, but the sheer size advantage means it still produces files with a depth and tonality that smaller sensors just can't match. The battery life is mediocre, and the lack of stabilization means you'll be leaning on a tripod or cranking ISO more than you'd like.

vs Competition
Against the Sony a7R V, the GFX 50S wins on pure sensor size and that medium format look, but loses badly on speed, autofocus, and video. The a7R V is a far more versatile camera for most people. The Nikon Z9 is in a completely different league for action and video, but it's also much more expensive and overkill if you just want maximum detail. Honestly, the GFX 50S's real competition is the used market for other medium format bodies. If you need speed, get the Sony. If you need the medium format look on a budget, this is your camera.

Value & Pricing
Pricing is all over the place. We're seeing listings from $2,796 to $6,499 in the US, which is a massive spread. The best deal we found is on Amazon for the renewed body at the lower end of that range. At $2,800, this is a screaming deal for medium format. At $6,500, you're getting into used GFX 100S territory and should probably just save a bit more. If you can snag one under $3,000, it's a no-brainer for the image quality alone.
Подробнее
Overview
The Fujifilm GFX 50S is a medium format monster that prioritizes one thing above all else: image quality. That 51.4MP sensor is roughly 1.7x the size of a full frame chip, and it shows in every single file. If you're a landscape, studio, or product photographer who wants the absolute best detail and dynamic range, this camera delivers in spades. But it's not a do-everything body. The burst rate is a laughable 1.8fps, video tops out at 1080p, and there's zero stabilization. This is a deliberate, slow, tripod-friendly tool, not a run-and-gun hybrid.
Common Questions
Q: Is the GFX 50S good for video?
No. It tops out at 1080p and has no stabilization. If you need video, get a Sony a7R V or a Panasonic S5 II. This is a stills camera, period.
Q: Can I use this camera handheld?
You can, but you'll be fighting the lack of stabilization and the slow burst rate. For best results, use a tripod or at least a fast shutter speed. The 51.4MP sensor will show every bit of camera shake.
Q: Is the autofocus really that bad?
It's not terrible for static subjects, but it's not going to keep up with fast action. For portraits, landscapes, and studio work, it's fine. For sports or wildlife, you'll be frustrated.
Who Should Skip This
If you're looking for a hybrid camera that does video, fast action, or handheld shooting, this isn't it. Go get a Sony a7R V or a Canon EOS R6 Mark II instead. You'll sacrifice some image quality but gain a camera that actually keeps up with you.
Verdict
The GFX 50S is a specialist's tool. If you shoot landscapes, architecture, studio portraits, or product work and you want the absolute best image quality per dollar, this is one of the best values in photography right now. If you need anything resembling speed, video, or handheld flexibility, look elsewhere. It's not a camera for everyone, but for the right person, it's nearly perfect.
