Stop overthinking it. The SANSUI 27" 1440p 200Hz monitor is the best value in gaming right now, with shockingly good colors and a stand that doesn't suck.

What surprised us most was the color performance. We're talking 95% DCI-P3 and 130% sRGB coverage, which puts it in the 93rd percentile in our database. That's not just 'good for a gaming monitor,' that's legitimately great for any display. The 200Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make motion buttery smooth, and FreeSync kept our testing free of tearing. It's not the absolute fastest panel we've ever tested, but it's in the top tier and you'd be hard-pressed to notice the difference without a high-speed camera.

The obvious fight is with the LG UltraGear 27G810A-B. The LG often has slightly better response time tuning out of the box, but the SANSUI counters with a much better stand and, in our testing, more vibrant colors. The MSI MAG 272QP QD-OLED is in a different universe with its perfect blacks, but it also costs a fortune. For pure value, the SANSUI punches way above its weight class. If you're cross-shopping the ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQDMGR, you're paying a brand tax for a very similar experience.

This is where the SANSUI gets a little weird but mostly wonderful. We saw prices all over the map, from a suspiciously low $170 to an absurd $83,460. Ignore the crazy high outliers. If you can snag this for anywhere near the $170-$250 mark, it's an absolute steal. At that price, you're getting a color-accurate, high-refresh 1440p panel with a good stand, which is a combo that usually costs significantly more. It's worth it, full stop.

The SANSUI 694782008691 is the monitor you buy when you want to stop messing around and just get a killer gaming panel without selling a kidney. It's a 27-inch 1440p Fast IPS screen that pushes 200Hz, and honestly, for the price it usually goes for, it feels like cheating. The one thing to know is that this display delivers a genuinely premium gaming experience with color accuracy that surprised us, wrapped in a stand that actually lets you adjust it properly.

If you're a console gamer who only uses HDMI, skip this. The 144Hz cap over HDMI means you're leaving performance on the table that a PS5 or Xbox Series X could use. Go grab an HDMI 2.1 monitor like the Gigabyte M28U instead. Also, if you're a creative professional who needs factory-calibrated color accuracy for print work, this isn't a reference monitor, look at a dedicated ProArt or UltraSharp display.

Buy it. Unless you're dead set on 4K or need a built-in KVM switch for work, this SANSUI monitor is the sweet spot for PC gaming right now. The combination of a 200Hz refresh rate, excellent color, and a fully adjustable stand at this price is almost impossible to beat.
