Lenovo Idea Tab Pro 12.7" 12.7-inch Grey

Its Quad JBL speaker system and included Lenovo Tab Plus Pen add notable value for audio immersion and precise note-taking. This tablet is best for users who prioritize a large-screen entertainment hub for streaming and casual sketching.

Performance
The Dimensity 8300 keeps things snappy for everyday tasks. Multiple apps, note-taking with the included Tab Plus Pen, and 144Hz scrolling all feel smooth. The 12.7-inch 3K IPS panel is bright and sharp, though it's only in the 63rd percentile for screens, so don't expect OLED-level contrast. The 10,200mAh battery is the real hero here, easily lasting through a full day of video and web browsing. But the GPU and CPU rankings are mediocre, so heavy gaming or video editing will show the limits fast. Wi-Fi 6E helps, but overall connectivity sits below average.

vs Competition
Against the Apple iPad Pro M5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, the Idea Tab Pro gets smoked on raw power and screen quality. Those are premium devices with premium prices. The Xiaomi Pad 7 is a closer rival, offering similar specs at a comparable price, but the Lenovo's included stylus and bigger battery give it an edge for note-takers. The Microsoft Surface Pro 11 is a different beast entirely, a full Windows machine that costs way more. For pure Android media consumption, the Idea Tab Pro holds its own against the Xiaomi, but it can't touch the iPad or Galaxy in performance.

Value & Pricing
At CAD 400 to CAD 560 depending on the listing, this tablet is a strong value for media and note-taking. The CAD 400 price point is the sweet spot, and you should hunt for that deal. You're getting a big 3K display, a stylus, and a battery that outlasts most competitors, all for less than half the price of an iPad Pro. The trade-off is raw performance and connectivity. If you need a tablet for work or heavy multitasking, the value proposition drops fast.

It's not trying to be an iPad Pro killer. The CPU and GPU sit in the middle of the pack, and connectivity is a weak spot. But for streaming, reading, sketching, and light productivity, it covers the basics well. The battery is a genuine standout, landing in the 90th percentile in our database.

Who Should Skip This
Skip this if you need a tablet for serious work or heavy gaming. The business score of 38.8 is rough, and the CPU and GPU rankings are mediocre. If you're editing video, running demanding apps, or need a laptop replacement, look at the iPad Pro or Surface Pro instead. Also skip it if you need reliable connectivity options, since that's a weak spot.
Verdict
Buy this if you want a big, beautiful screen for streaming, reading, and light sketching without spending a fortune. The included stylus and excellent battery life make it a great couch companion or student note-taker. It's not for power users or anyone who needs serious productivity. If you're mostly watching videos, taking notes, and browsing the web, this is a lot of tablet for the money.
