ASUS ROG G700TF-U7KF5080 Black 2025

A silent, stunning 4K powerhouse that's the closest thing to a perfect prebuilt gaming PC. Just remember to enable the full RAM speed in the BIOS, and you're golden.

We were genuinely surprised by how quiet this thing is. A 240mm AIO and quad-fan setup cooling a Core Ultra 7 265KF and an RTX 5080 sounds like a recipe for a jet engine, but the G700 stays whisper-quiet even when it's getting hammered. In our database, its CPU sits in the 95th percentile, which means it chews through everything from gaming to video editing without breaking a sweat. The RTX 5080 is a top-tier card, landing in the 88th percentile, and it shows. You're not just hitting high frame rates at 4K, you're doing it with all the eye candy turned on. The only hiccup is that out of the box, the DDR5 RAM defaults to a slower speed, so you're leaving a bit of performance on the table until you enable the XMP profile in the BIOS.

The G700's main rival is the Lenovo Legion Tower 5a Gen 10, which often comes in at a similar price but with a slightly more aggressive, gamer-centric aesthetic. The ASUS feels more premium and understated. The Dell Area-51 is another strong contender, but it typically runs hotter and louder based on what we've seen. If you're cross-shopping the Apple Mac Studio M4 Max, you're looking at a machine that tries to do more with AI features, but the G700's raw, quiet gaming performance is just more focused and, frankly, better executed. The CLX SET TGMSETRTU5204BM is a wildcard with some interesting specs, but it doesn't match the ASUS for pure, no-nonsense 4K gaming. For that, the ASUS is the one to beat.

For $3100, you're getting a premium, turnkey 4K monster. Could you build something similar for a few hundred bucks less? Probably. But you wouldn't get this level of polish, the warranty, or the sheer convenience of having a perfectly tuned system dropped on your doorstep. If your time is worth more than the savings from a DIY build, this is a solid deal.

The ASUS ROG G700 is a beastly prebuilt that just works. You unbox it, plug it in, and you're immediately playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with path tracing and getting a smooth 100+ fps. It's the kind of machine that makes you forget about building your own PC because the cable management is already perfect, the cooling is dialed in, and the parts are all top-shelf. The one thing to know is this: it's a no-compromise 4K gaming rig that runs cool and quiet, but you absolutely need to flip a switch in the BIOS to get the full RAM speed you paid for.

If you're the type who loves swapping parts every six months and needs a clear, easy upgrade path for the latest CPU, this might not be your jam. The motherboard's future support is a bit of a question mark. You'd be happier speccing out your own build with a motherboard you know will support next-gen chips. Go grab a DIY kit from Micro Center instead.

The ASUS ROG G700 is the prebuilt gaming PC to get if you want the best 4K experience without any tinkering. It's powerful, it's quiet, and it's built like a luxury item. The BIOS tweak for the RAM is a minor annoyance, but once that's done, this machine is flawless. If you have the budget and just want to play, buy it.
