Intel Core i7 9700K 8-core LGA1151
Eight physical cores with a 4.9GHz boost clock deliver strong single-thread performance for gaming, bypassing the hyperthreading overhead of its i9 sibling. The unlocked 95W TDP on the LGA 1151 socket provides straightforward overclocking headroom for users with existing 300-series motherboards. This processor is best for pure gamers seeking high frame rates who don't need the extra threads for streaming or video rendering.
