You're paying a premium for the lightweight build, excellent screen, and business-grade features like Windows 11 Pro and that solid port array. But the middling CPU performance and paltry 512GB of storage make it feel a little overpriced compared to consumer ultrabooks that pack more punch for the same money. It's a fair price for a well-built business tool, but it's not a steal.

ASUS is pitching the ExpertBook P5 as a no-nonsense workhorse for the office crowd, and honestly, it mostly delivers. You get a really nice 14-inch 1600p display, a featherlight 1.27kg chassis, and Intel's new Core Ultra 5 chip in a package that feels built for a commute. If your workflow lives entirely in web apps, Office 365, and video calls, you'll love the lightweight design and that crisp 144Hz display. Just don't ask it to do any heavy lifting beyond that.
