Skullcandy Crusher S6CAW-Q740
The defining feature is the Crusher Adjustable Sensory Bass, delivering a physical, haptic low-end response unlike standard headphones, paired with 50-hour battery life. Personal Sound calibration by Mimi and adjustable 5-mic ANC add a layer of customization rare at this price point. These are best for bass enthusiasts who prioritize a visceral, fun listening experience over analytical accuracy or studio use.

Факти
Performance
The bass is the headline act. Owners rave about the thumping low end and the precise control dial, which is a real upgrade over the old slider on the Crusher Evo. The 50-hour battery is also a standout, landing in the 85th percentile, and the rapid charge giving you 4 hours from 10 minutes is genuinely useful. But here's the surprise: the ANC is solid, not spectacular. Four mics do a decent job muting the outside world, but several owners say it's not as effective as advertised. And the sound quality overall? Our data puts it in the 20th percentile. This is not a headphone for people who want balanced, detailed audio. It's for people who want to feel the kick drum in their teeth.

vs Competition
The Sony ULT WEAR WHULT900N/B is the most direct competitor, and it's a better all-rounder with stronger ANC and more balanced sound, though it can't match the Crusher's raw bass impact. The JBL Tune 670NC is cheaper and more comfortable, but the bass is a joke compared to the Crusher. The Sennheiser MOMENTUM M5AEBT is in a different league for sound quality, but it costs more and won't rattle your fillings loose. If you want the Crusher experience, nothing else does it. If you want a good headphone that happens to have bass, buy the Sony.

Value & Pricing
At $149 USD, this is a fair price for what you get, but only if bass is your entire personality. The battery and mic punch above the price point, but the comfort issues and mediocre overall sound make it a tough sell for anyone else. If you're a bass head on a budget, this is a solid deal. If you want a well-rounded headphone, keep scrolling.

Докладніше
Overview
The Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 XT is a one-trick pony, but it's a hell of a trick. If you want bass that physically rattles your skull, nothing else at this price comes close. The Crusher tech is the whole story here, and it's either the best thing you've ever felt or an instant headache. Our database puts the mic and battery near the top of the charts, but comfort lands in the bottom 2 percent. That's a wild spread, and it tells you exactly who this headphone is for.
Common Questions
Q: Does the Crusher ANC 2 XT actually rattle your skull?
Yes, and that's the point. The Crusher tech uses haptic drivers to physically vibrate the ear cups. Some people love it, some people say it causes tinnitus at high volume. Start low and work your way up.
Q: Are these comfortable for long listening sessions?
No. The ear cups sit on your ears rather than around them, and the headband tension is weak, so they slip. Our data puts comfort in the 2nd percentile. These are gym headphones or short-session headphones, not all-day wear.
Q: How good is the noise cancelling?
It's decent but not class-leading. Four mics do a solid job, and you can adjust the level, but owners report it's not as effective as the marketing suggests. It's fine for commuting, not for silence.
Who Should Skip This
If you're looking for a comfortable, balanced headphone for work or long listening sessions, this isn't it. Go get the Sony ULT WEAR or the JBL Tune 670NC instead. The Crusher ANC 2 XT is for bass fanatics who don't mind a little discomfort in exchange for feeling the music in their bones.
Verdict
Buy the Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 XT if you want the most physically intense bass experience under $200. It's a niche product that nails its niche. But be honest with yourself: if you care about comfort, balanced sound, or wearing these for more than an hour, this is not your headphone. The 2nd percentile comfort score is not a typo.
