We were genuinely surprised by how snappy it felt with dozens of browser tabs and Office apps open, thanks to that 16GB of DDR5 RAM. But the integrated Intel graphics are exactly what you'd expect: fine for spreadsheets, a total non-starter for anything beyond casual photo editing. The 512GB SSD is a bit on the small side, sitting in the bottom half of our storage rankings, so you'll be leaning on cloud storage sooner than you'd like.

Stacked against something like the HP OmniBook X Flip 14, the Dell feels like a dinosaur. The HP offers a vastly superior OLED touchscreen, a more modern design, and better battery life in a more portable package.
