Il Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD è un obiettivo che punta tutto sulla comodità. Fa tutto, discretamente, ma non eccelle in nulla. La qualità costruttiva e l'autofocus sono buoni, ma la nitidezza alle focali estreme e la scarsa luminosità lo penalizzano in un mercato che ora offre alternative più valide. È consigliato solo a fotografi amatoriali che mettono la praticità al primo posto e sono disposti a scendere a compromessi sulla qualità d'immagine. Per chi cerca il miglior compromesso tra range e resa ottica, il Sigma 16-300mm è oggi la scelta più sensata.
