The constant T2.1 aperture across the 35-85mm zoom range delivers consistent exposure and pronounced subject separation with a milky bokeh, aided by a 260° focus throw for precise control. Its optical design effectively suppresses focus breathing, preserving framing accuracy during pulls, while the multi-layer nano-coating maintains vivid, film-like texture and contrast. This lens is best for Fujifilm X-mount videographers needing a single, stabilized cinema zoom for narrative work and interviews where consistent aperture and manual focus precision are critical.
