Performance
The MediaTek G80 sits in the 84th percentile for CPUs in our database, which is genuinely surprising for a tablet this cheap. Apps open fine and light games run okay. But the 3GB of RAM is a real bottleneck, landing in the 10th percentile. Open more than a couple apps and you'll feel it stutter. The 32GB of storage is even worse, bottom 9 percent. You'll be leaning on that microSD slot immediately. The 5100mAh battery is solidly average, good for a full day of light use but nothing to brag about.

vs Competition
Stacked against the Apple iPad 10th Generation or Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, the Tab M9 gets smoked on screen quality, storage, and overall polish. But those cost several times more. The Xiaomi Redmi Pad is a closer rival and offers a better display for not much more money. The UMIDIGI Active T1 and Vekfulpc T60 Pro are cheaper Android options, but their processors don't match the G80 here. You're trading screen and storage for a better chip at this price.

Value & Pricing
At around $110 USD, the Tab M9 is cheap enough to forgive a lot. You're getting a tablet with a decent processor, a case, and a usable Android 12 experience. But the RAM and storage limits mean you'll outgrow it fast. If you just need a screen for YouTube, ebooks, and light browsing, it's a fair deal. If you want to do anything more, save up.
Price History
詳細情報
Overview
The Lenovo Tab M9 is a budget Android tablet that gets the basics right and not much else. The MediaTek G80 chip is actually a standout for this price class, but the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage hold it back hard. Think of it as a casual browsing and streaming device, not a workhorse.
Lenovo throws in a folio case, which is a nice touch. The 9-inch screen is dim and low-res by modern standards, but it's fine for reading in bed or handing to a kid. Just don't expect to multitask or store much on it.
Common Questions
Q: Can I expand the storage?
Yes, the Tab M9 has a microSD slot for expandable storage. With only 32GB built in, you'll probably want to add a card right away.
Q: Is this tablet good for kids?
It's lightweight and cheap enough to hand to a kid, and the folio case helps with drops. Just don't expect it to run demanding games or lots of apps at once.
Q: How long does the battery actually last?
The 5100mAh battery is average for this class. Expect a full day of light use like reading or browsing, but streaming video will drain it faster.
Who Should Skip This
Skip this if you need to run more than a couple apps at once, store lots of photos or videos, or do any real work. The 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage will frustrate you within a week. Also skip it if you care about screen quality, the 1340x800 LCD is one of the dimmest and lowest-res panels we've seen in this category.
Verdict
The Lenovo Tab M9 is for people who want a basic Android tablet for reading, streaming, and casual browsing without spending real money. It's not for students, not for productivity, and definitely not for anyone who keeps more than a handful of apps installed. If your expectations are low and your budget is lower, it'll do the job.
