ASUS GeForce RTX 5070 Ti TUF Gaming 16GB GDDR7

A stunning white 5070 Ti with a clever cable-hiding trick. Just don't pay 5080 prices for it.

The 5070 Ti here is no slouch. 8,960 CUDA cores and a 2,610MHz boost clock push 43.94 FP32 TFLOPS, which is a standout number. In our database, raster performance lands in the top 15% and ray tracing is even better, sitting in the top 10%. What surprised us most is the thermal behavior. Despite the 300W TDP, owners report it runs cool under load. The triple fan design does its job. But there's a catch: some users have seen power spikes up to 760W. That's not a typo. Keep an eye on that 16-pin connector and make sure your PSU can handle the transient loads.

The most direct competitor is the MSI Ventus RTX 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X PZ OC. It's cheaper and offers nearly identical performance, but it's boring to look at and lacks the BTF cable management. If you want more raw power, the Gigabyte AERO GV-N5080AERO OC-16GD is the step up, but you'll pay for it. The ZOTAC APOCALYPSE is another 5080 option that trades blows on price. Honestly, the ASUS wins on aesthetics and build quality, but the MSI is the smarter buy if you don't care about looks.

Here's where it gets messy. In the US, we're seeing prices from $990 to $2,799. That's a $1,809 spread. In Canada, it's even worse: CAD 1,530 to CAD 4,700. If you can snag this near the low end, it's a solid deal for the performance. But at the high end, you're paying 5080 money for a 5070 Ti. Newegg has the best US pricing right now, so start there. Don't overpay for a white paint job.

The ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5070 Ti BTF White is a gorgeous card with a party trick: the back-to-front power connector. No more ugly cables snaking across the front of your build. It's a clean look, and the white shroud is one of the best we've seen. But the real story is performance. This thing hits 32,462 in PassMark G3D, which puts it in the top tier of our database. It's a 1440p monster and a very capable 4K card, especially with DLSS 4 doing the heavy lifting.

If you're building a black or non-windowed PC, skip this. The white shroud and BTF connector are the whole point. Get the MSI Ventus 5070 Ti instead and save some cash. Also, if your case doesn't support BTF or you're not comfortable with the power spike reports, this isn't for you. Go with a standard 5070 Ti or step up to a 5080.

This is a great card if you're building a white-themed PC and want the cleanest possible cable management. The BTF connector is genuinely innovative, and the performance is there for 1440p and even 4K gaming. But the price volatility is a real problem. If you can find it under $1,100 USD, buy it. If it's over $1,500, walk away and get a 5080 instead.
