TOZO Color Pods

A ludicrously good deal that packs a brilliant touchscreen case and chart-topping battery life into a sub-$40 package. The sound is fun, the ANC is solid, and your wallet will thank you.

What surprised us most was the battery life. In our database, these things are the absolute best right now for longevity, and that 38-hour total is a real-world number, not a lab fantasy. The 10mm drivers deliver a sound that's well above average, with a bass-forward profile that's genuinely fun, though the highs can get a little tinny if you push the volume. The ANC is a standout for the price, effectively hushing the low hum of a bus or office AC, even if it won't silence a screaming baby. The touchscreen case is the party trick, letting you control tracks, check battery, and even use a flashlight without digging out your phone.

Stacked against the Sony WF-C700N, the TOZO Color Pods offer a richer feature set with that screen and offline storage, but Sony wins on pure comfort and a more refined, less tinny sound signature. The Soundcore P31i is a closer fight, but the TOZO's battery life is in a different league. If you're cross-shopping the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro, you're in the wrong aisle; those are for people who want the absolute best ANC and seamless ecosystem integration, but the TOZO gets you 80% of the way there for 15% of the price. The EarFun Air Pro 4+ is a strong alternative if you prioritize a more neutral sound out of the box, but it can't touch this battery life.

This is a no-brainer. For under $40, you're getting a set of features that would cost you triple from Samsung or Sony. The value proposition here is so strong it's almost aggressive. Unless you have a very specific, high-end need, these are the budget earbuds to beat.

The TOZO Color Pods are a feature-stuffed budget miracle that make you question why anyone spends $200 on earbuds. The one thing to know? That little touchscreen on the case isn't a gimmick, it's genuinely useful, and the sound quality at this price is borderline unfair to the competition. You get active noise cancelling, a 38-hour battery that sits in the 99th percentile, and even 400MB of offline storage for when you want to leave your phone behind. It's an absurdly generous package for the price of a couple of pizzas.

If you're looking for all-day comfort for office calls, this isn't it. The mediocre mic and hit-or-miss fit will drive you nuts. Go get the Sony WF-C700N instead, they're far more comfortable and have a better microphone, even if you lose the cool case screen.

Buy them. Seriously, if your budget is under $50, stop reading reviews and just get these. The TOZO Color Pods are the new benchmark for what budget earbuds can be. They're not perfect, the fit won't be for everyone and the mic is just average, but the sheer volume of features and top-tier battery life makes them an easy recommendation for anyone who isn't a hardcore audiophile.
