AMD Ryzen Threadripper 116727 8-core TR4
The 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen Threadripper 116727 runs at a 3.8GHz base and 4.0GHz boost with 20MB of L3 cache, delivering quad-channel DDR4 support and 64 PCIe 3.0 lanes on the TR4 socket. Its 180W TDP and 68°C maximum temperature make it a niche entry-level HEDT part that prioritizes platform expandability over raw per-core speed. This processor suits budget workstation builders who need quad-channel memory and abundant PCIe connectivity for multi-GPU or storage-heavy setups rather than high-efficiency rendering or server tasks.
