AMD Ryzen 7 8700F 8-core AM5
With 8 cores and 16 threads at a 4.1 GHz base clock and 16MB cache, this AM5 processor offers a modern socket for future upgrades, though its 3.1/100 total score signals weak performance. Its main differentiator is platform compatibility with AM5 motherboards, enabling DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 support. Best for budget builders who prioritize motherboard longevity over gaming or AI workloads, given its 3.9/100 gaming and 1.5/100 AI scores.
