AMD EPYC 7401 24-core SP5
The integrated 128 lanes of PCIe 3.0 eliminate the need for a separate chipset, offering dense I/O connectivity alongside 24 cores and support for up to 2TB of DDR4 memory. Its consistent feature set includes processor-level memory encryption and secure boot, providing a strong security baseline without additional hardware. This processor is best for virtualization hosts and memory-intensive server workloads where high core counts and massive RAM capacity outweigh the need for peak single-threaded frequency.
