Best Entertainment Tablets Under £800 in 2026

Powered by a MediaTek MT8788, the 10.65-inch Carta 1300 Mobius display with 300PPI and 2560x1920 resolution offers sharp, low-glare reading, while the 750 µm pen-to-ink distance and W2 Stylus Pro provide a realistic writing texture. Its 4.5mm thin, 370g body remains highly portable, and Android 13 with AI-driven features simplifies note organization and sync across Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. Ideal for note-takers, daily planners, and light sketch artists who want an eye-friendly digital notebook with cloud backup.

The included keyboard connector and stylus support transform this 11-inch 2K IPS touchscreen into a versatile 2-in-1, powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 838 chip with 128GB of eMMC storage. Its compact 10.95-inch form factor and ChromeOS simplicity make it a highly portable secondary device for media consumption. This tablet is best for students needing an affordable, lightweight machine for note-taking, web browsing, and streaming.

The 11.8-inch Canvas Color display with an adjustable reading light brings color to a paper-like writing experience for the first time, paired with a Marker Plus stylus for realistic friction. Its ultra-slim 526g build and low-glare screen make it uniquely portable for comfortable, eye-strain-free use outdoors or at night. This tablet is best for artists and designers who want a focused, distraction-free digital sketchbook with precise pen control.

The full-metal body with a ruggedized shock-absorbing case provides durability that reduces replacement costs, while the MediaTek Kompanio 838 and 8GB RAM handle seamless multitasking. Its detachable keyboard and stylus support transform the 10.9-inch 400-nit display into a versatile laptop or tablet for varied learning modes. This device is best for students and schools needing a durable, all-day 2-in-1 for writing, interactive activities, and clear video calls.

The 10.3-inch Kaleido 3 color E Ink screen with 4,096 colors, a flat cover-lens for precise stylus accuracy, and a 300 ppi black-and-white mode distinguishes this 430g Android 15 tablet from gray-only e-readers. A thin 5.8mm build, pressure-sensitive stylus, microSD expansion, and full Google Play access through Android 15 add flexible note-taking utility. It’s best for illustrators and document annotators who need a paper-like color canvas to sketch and markup, though the darker Kaleido 3 panel limits its reading appeal.

Its IP65 waterproofing and MIL-STD-810H certification provide durability that standard tablets lack, powered by an Intel N5100 processor with 8GB RAM and a 5000mAh battery. The 10.1-inch 1200x1920 display and Windows 11 Pro offer a familiar desktop environment in a 998g package with 4G LTE for field connectivity. This tablet is best for field technicians and logistics workers who need a ruggedized, always-connected Windows device for data entry and diagnostics in harsh environments.
