Dell P2319HE 4608398 23" Black
The 23-inch IPS panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution with 250 nits brightness and 1000:1 contrast, ensuring consistent colors from wide viewing angles. Its ergonomic stand offers height, pivot, swivel, and tilt adjustments, plus VESA 100x100 mounting, and connectivity includes HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA. This monitor suits office workers who need a reliable, adjustable display for spreadsheets and document work, though its 60Hz refresh rate limits entertainment use.

The 30-Second Version
A boring but reliable office monitor with great ergonomics and a dim, dated panel. Buy it for the stand, not the screen.

Performance
The 60Hz refresh rate and 5ms response time are fine for spreadsheets and email, but that's about it. Our database puts the performance in the bottom quarter of monitors, which tracks. The 250 nits brightness is okay for a normal office, but it'll struggle near a bright window. The real surprise here is the ergonomics, sitting in the 91st percentile. Height adjust, tilt, swivel, pivot, and VESA mounting all come standard, which is more than you get from a lot of pricier screens.

vs Competition
Stacked against the ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQDPG or the LG UltraGear 27GX790A-B, the Dell looks ancient. Those are high-refresh gaming panels with far better color and brightness. But that's not really the point. The Dell is a productivity tool. The BenQ MA Series MA270U is probably the closest real competitor for office use, and it offers a higher resolution. If you need speed or color accuracy, skip the Dell entirely. If you need a cheap, adjustable second screen, it holds up.

Value & Pricing
Pricing is all over the place depending on where you look. In Canada, we're seeing listings from CAD 280 to CAD 783, which is a massive spread. The CAD 280 option is a fair deal for a reliable office monitor. At CAD 783, you're getting fleeced, go buy something newer. In the US, it's listed at USD 280, which is reasonable but not a steal.
Докладніше
Overview
The Dell P2319HE is a workhorse office monitor, not a gaming or entertainment screen. It nails the ergonomics and connectivity that desk jockeys actually need, but the display itself is pretty basic by today's standards. If you're setting up a home office or a multi-monitor workstation, this thing is a solid, dependable pick. Just don't expect it to wow you with colors or speed.
Common Questions
Q: Is this monitor good for gaming?
No. 60Hz and 5ms response time will feel sluggish in fast-paced games. Get a 144Hz panel instead.
Q: Can I mount this on a monitor arm?
Yep. It has VESA 100x100 mounting holes, so any standard arm or wall mount will work.
Q: Does it have built-in speakers?
No speakers here. You'll need external speakers or headphones.
Who Should Skip This
If you're looking for a monitor for gaming, photo editing, or watching movies, this isn't it. The color coverage is weak and the refresh rate is low. Go grab something like the BenQ MA270U for better resolution and color, or a high-refresh gaming panel if speed matters.
Verdict
The Dell P2319HE is a no-frills office monitor that does exactly what it's supposed to do. The ergonomics are top-notch, the connectivity is solid, and the price is right if you shop carefully. It's not exciting, but it's dependable. For a basic workstation setup, this is a safe buy.
