Le prove
Performance
The 5mm dynamic driver pumps out punchy bass and crisp vocals, which lines up with what buyers report. Sound quality lands in the 4th percentile in our database, so audiophiles should look elsewhere, but for casual listening it gets the job done. The in-line remote handles volume, playback, and calls without reaching for your phone. Passive noise isolation is effective enough for commuting, though there's no ANC to block out the world. The mic is fine for quiet calls but picks up background noise when things get loud.

vs Competition
Stacked against wireless options like the Soundcore P31i, EarFun Air Pro 4+, or Anker Space A40, the Sony IER-EX15C loses on features. No ANC, no wireless freedom, no app support. But those competitors cost more and need charging. If you want a wired backup pair or something for a kid's tablet, the Sony is simpler and cheaper. The JLab JBuds Pods ANC and Baseus Bass BP1 Pro offer more tech, but you'll pay for it.

Value & Pricing
At USD 20 to USD 28, these are cheap enough to toss in a bag and forget about. The price spread across US listings is USD 8, so it's worth checking which store has the lower end of that range before buying. For the money, you get a comfortable fit, decent sound, and a cord organizer in the box. That's a solid deal for wired earbuds in 2025.
Approfondisci
Overview
The Sony IER-EX15C is a no-frills pair of USB-C wired earbuds that nails the basics. Plug them in, pick an ear tip, and you're done. No charging, no pairing, no app. For anyone tired of wireless earbuds dying mid-commute, that simplicity is the whole pitch.
Sound-wise, owners are surprisingly happy. Strong bass, clear vocals, and decent passive isolation make these a solid daily driver for music and calls. The mic struggles in loud rooms, but at this price, that's a fair trade.
Common Questions
Q: Do these come with different ear tip sizes?
Yes, the box includes multiple silicone ear tip sizes so you can find a snug, comfortable fit.
Q: Do these earbuds have a microphone?
Yes, there's an in-line microphone built into the remote, along with volume and playback controls.
Q: Will these work with my phone?

Who Should Skip This
Skip these if you care about sound quality or need noise cancellation. The 4th percentile sound score means music lovers will notice the lack of detail and clarity. They're perfect for commuters who hate charging cases, seniors who want simplicity, or anyone with a USB-C phone and no patience for Bluetooth pairing. Skip them if you need serious sound quality or noise cancellation.
