NOVOJOY Android 15 tablet 10" NV-CP20 Blue 2025

A cheap tablet that often becomes an expensive paperweight. The free case and stylus won't matter when the screen stays black.

The 2.0GHz processor and 4GB of RAM put this tablet in the bottom third of our database for both CPU and RAM performance. That means it's fine for one app at a time, but don't expect to jump between a browser, a video, and a game without some serious stuttering. What surprised us most was the gap between the spec sheet and reality. The marketing pushes '12GB RAM' but that includes 8GB of virtual expansion, which is much slower than physical RAM. Multiple owners report that even simple games like Roblox and Minecraft run poorly, and the tablet often freezes or becomes unresponsive during basic tasks.

The obvious competitor is the Apple iPad 9.7. It costs more, but you get a screen and processor that are in a completely different league, plus reliability you can count on. If you're locked into Android and a tight budget, the MENTUME K70 offers a similar feature set with slightly better user feedback in our database. The NOVOJOY only wins if you absolutely cannot spend more and you're willing to roll the dice on a device that might not last the month.

This is a tough one. The price is rock-bottom, and you get a case and stylus. But the value proposition falls apart when the tablet stops turning on after a week. If you get a working unit, it's an okay deal for a kid's first media player. The problem is the gamble. We can't recommend spending any money on a device with this many reports of outright failure.

The NOVOJOY NV-CP20 is a budget Android tablet that looks decent on paper but stumbles hard in real-world use. The big selling point is that it ships with Android 15, a case, and a stylus right out of the box for a very low price. But here's the thing: our data and a pile of user reports show a device that's prone to freezing, sluggish performance, and outright failure within days. It's a classic case of getting what you pay for, and sometimes even less.

If you need a tablet for anything beyond the lightest casual use, skip this. If you want to play games, do any real work, or just want a device that turns on reliably every morning, this isn't it. Go get a refurbished iPad or a budget Samsung Galaxy Tab A series instead. You'll lose the Android 15 bragging rights but gain a device that actually works.

We can't recommend the NOVOJOY NV-CP20. The promise of a cheap, full-featured Android 15 tablet is tempting, but the reality is a slow, unreliable device that frequently fails. The handful of positive reviews praising its size and value are overshadowed by a larger group of users who got burned. Save your money for something more dependable, even if it means buying a refurbished tablet from a known brand.
