NOVOJOY ZB10

The NOVOJOY ZB10 is a super cheap 10.1-inch Android 15 tablet that surprises with Wi-Fi 6 and included accessories. Performance is slow and storage is tight, but for basic reading and video streaming at a rock-bottom price, it's hard to complain too much.

Under the hood, the NOVOJOY ZB10 packs a 64-bit quad-core Cortex chip clocked at 2.0GHz paired with 8GB of RAM. In our database, the CPU lands in the 37th percentile, which is firmly in 'underwhelming' territory for raw power. You'll notice this when launching apps or switching between a few of them. It's not snappy, but it's not a slideshow either. The RAM situation is a bit of a marketing trick, the system reports 8GB but that includes a 5GB software expansion, so the physical RAM is actually lower. For basic tasks like reading, light web browsing, or streaming video, it chugs along fine.

Gaming is where the wheels start to come off. The GPU sits in the 38th percentile, so don't even think about Genshin Impact or demanding 3D titles. Simple 2D games and puzzle apps are the sweet spot. On the flip side, the connectivity is a standout. Wi-Fi 6 support puts it in the 97th percentile, which is best-in-class for a budget tablet. Your connection will be rock solid even if the processor is sweating. The 6000mAh battery is solid, landing in the 67th percentile, and you can realistically expect 6 to 8 hours of screen time before needing the USB-C charger.

Stacked against something like the Apple iPad 9.7, the NOVOJOY ZB10 is playing a completely different sport. The iPad's screen, performance, and app ecosystem are lightyears ahead, but it also costs several times more. The ZB10 is for someone who would balk at spending $250 on a tablet. A more direct rival is the UMIDIGI Active T1, which also targets the rugged budget niche but often trades the ZB10's Wi-Fi 6 for a more durable build. The MENTUME K70 and Relndoo P30 are in the same boat, generic Android slabs fighting for the bottom dollar. The ZB10 edges them out slightly with its newer Android 15 OS and that surprisingly good connectivity, but the SKYEGG K15 often matches it on RAM and storage for a similar price. It's a razor-thin margin between these no-name brands.

Value is the ZB10's entire reason for existing. With a price range that spans from a reasonable $60 to an absurd $17,085 across different vendors, you obviously need to shop smart. Stick to the lower end of that spectrum, specifically on Amazon where it's normally listed, and you're getting a functional tablet for less than a nice dinner out. The included case and stylus add real tangible value that competitors often leave out. If you need a barebones device for a child or a dedicated media controller, it's hard to argue with the cost. Just don't mistake 'cheap' for 'a steal' if you need it for anything beyond the basics.

The NOVOJOY ZB10 is one of those tablets that makes you do a double take at the price tag. We're talking about a 10.1-inch Android 15 slate that ships with a case and a stylus in the box, often landing around that $60 mark. For anyone searching for a cheap tablet for kids, a basic e-reader, or something to watch YouTube on in the kitchen, the spec sheet looks surprisingly decent on paper. You get 8GB of RAM, a quad-core processor, and even Wi-Fi 6, which is frankly wild at this end of the market.

But you and I both know that budget Android tablets live and die by their real-world experience, not just the bullet points. The ZB10 runs a fairly clean build of Android 15, which is a nice touch, and the inclusion of a folio case and stylus means you don't have to nickel-and-dime yourself on accessories just to get started. The 1280x800 IPS display isn't going to blow your mind, but it's perfectly functional for reading or casual streaming.

Where things get interesting is the storage situation. You get 32GB built in, which is tight, but the microSD slot supports cards up to 1TB. That's a huge relief if you plan on loading it up with movies or books. Just don't expect this thing to replace your laptop. Our scoring puts it at a 48.9 out of 100 overall, with productivity being its weakest link. It's a consumption device, pure and simple.

Skip the NOVOJOY ZB10 if you need a tablet for any kind of productivity, serious drawing, or multitasking. The processor is too weak for split-screen work, and the stylus is a basic capacitive pen, not a precise active stylus like an S Pen or Apple Pencil. If you plan on using it for school, art, or as a laptop replacement, you'll be much happier saving up for a Samsung Galaxy Tab A series or a base model iPad. This is strictly a consumption device for reading and video.

Should you buy the NOVOJOY ZB10? If you need the absolute cheapest way to get a 10-inch screen running Android 15 for reading, light streaming, or keeping a kid occupied on a road trip, then yeah, it does the job. The Wi-Fi 6 is a genuine perk, and the included accessories mean you don't have to spend another dime. It's a functional, no-frills tablet that knows its place.

But if you have any aspirations of multitasking, drawing with any precision, or playing games beyond Solitaire, you should keep saving. The sluggish processor and tiny internal storage will frustrate you quickly. This is a secondary device, a throw-in for a bag, or a first tablet for a young child. Treat it as such and you'll be fine. Expect it to replace a real computer and you'll be back on Amazon writing a 1-star review.
