Best Kingston Gaming SSDs Premium in 2026

The Silicon Motion SM2508 controller drives 14,800 MB/s reads and 14,000 MB/s writes, making this 4TB PCIe 5.0 drive one of the fastest M.2 2280 SSDs available. Its DRAM-less TLC design keeps power draw low, which suits laptops and consoles, though portability is its weakest area. Best for gamers and hardware enthusiasts upgrading to Gen 5 who need massive capacity and top-tier sequential speeds for load times.
