The MediaTek Helio G80 chip and 4GB of RAM handle basic tasks smoothly, while the 344g weight makes it easy to hold for extended reading sessions. 实测数据
Performance
The Helio G80 surprised us. It sits in the 84th percentile for CPU performance among tablets in our database, which means it punches well above its price class. Browsing, YouTube, and even drone control apps run smoothly. The 4GB of RAM is the bottleneck though, landing in the 31st percentile. Multitasking gets tight fast, and the 64GB eMMC storage is slow and cramped. The 1340x800 display is the real weak spot, sitting near the bottom of our screen rankings. It's fine for casual video but text looks soft and colors are muted.

vs Competition
Against the Apple iPad 10th Generation, the Tab M9 loses on screen quality, performance, and app ecosystem, but it costs a fraction of the price. The Xiaomi Redmi Pad offers a much better display and more RAM for not much more money, so if you can stretch your budget, that's the smarter buy. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is in a completely different league, but it's also several times the price. For pure budget browsing, the Tab M9 holds its own against other cheap Android tablets like the UMIDIGI Active T1.

Value & Pricing
At $90 to $110 depending on the vendor, this is a solid deal for a secondary device. Newegg has the best price right now at $90, and that's the one to grab if you're buying. The UK price of £277 is absurd though, at that point you're better off with an iPad or a Samsung. For US buyers, this is a no-brainer for casual use.

Overview
The Lenovo Tab M9 is a budget tablet that knows exactly what it is: a cheap, portable screen for casual browsing, video, and light reading. The one thing to know? It nails the basics at a price that won't make you wince, but don't expect it to replace a laptop or even a mid-range tablet. The 9-inch size is genuinely nice for lap use and travel, and the Helio G80 chip handles everyday tasks better than you'd expect from a sub-$110 device.
Common Questions
Q: Can the Lenovo Tab M9 handle gaming?
Light games and casual titles run fine on the Helio G80, but don't expect to play Genshin Impact or anything demanding. The 4GB RAM and eMMC storage will choke on heavier titles.
Q: Is the screen good enough for reading?
It's okay for Kindle and web articles, but the 1340x800 resolution means text isn't as crisp as on higher-end tablets. If you read a lot, you'll notice the softness.
Q: Does it come with a charger?
Most units do, but a few buyers reported missing adapters in multi-unit orders. Double-check the box when it arrives, and keep the retailer's return policy handy just in case.
Who Should Skip This
If you're looking for a tablet to do real work, edit documents, or run demanding apps, this isn't it. Go get a Xiaomi Redmi Pad or stretch to an iPad instead. The Tab M9 is for casual browsing, video, and light reading, nothing more.
Verdict
If you need a cheap, reliable tablet for reading, light video, or controlling a drone, the Lenovo Tab M9 is a great pick. It's not a productivity machine, and the screen will annoy you if you're used to anything sharper. But for under $100, it's hard to beat. Buy it for what it is, not what you wish it were.
