Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ 12.4" 10+ Moonstone Gray 2024

The Galaxy Tab S10+ packs a top-tier 12.4" AMOLED display and blazing performance into a sleek, water-resistant body. It's an absolute joy for streaming and drawing, especially with the included S Pen. But some users report annoying app crashes, so if rock-solid stability is a must, proceed with caution.

This thing flies. The Dimensity 9300+ sits in the 99th percentile for CPU performance among all tablets in our database, which means it's basically top of the charts right now. Paired with 12GB of RAM, you can bounce between a dozen apps, edit photos, and play Genshin Impact without a stutter. The GPU is also a standout at the 98th percentile, so graphics-heavy games run beautifully on that high-res screen. The weak spot is user sentiment, which lands at a mediocre 49th percentile. That's not a spec problem, it's a stability problem. A handful of owners report apps crashing and forcing restarts, which is frustrating on a device this powerful.

Stacked against the Apple iPad Pro M5, the Tab S10+ wins on display flexibility and included accessories, but loses on raw app stability and that seamless Apple ecosystem polish. The Microsoft Surface Pro 11th Edition is a better pick if you need a full Windows laptop replacement for business, though its screen can't match this AMOLED. The Xiaomi Pad 6 and Lenovo Idea Tab Pro are solid budget alternatives, but neither comes close to the S10+ in processing power or display quality. If your priority is a brilliant screen for movies and drawing, Samsung has a real edge here.

Pricing is all over the map, ranging from $850 to $1402 depending on where you look. At the low end, this tablet is a steal considering you get the S Pen, a gorgeous OLED panel, and a flagship processor. At the high end, you're creeping into iPad Pro territory, and that's a tougher sell. If you can snag it closer to $850, the value proposition is excellent. Just shop around and avoid paying full sticker price.

The Galaxy Tab S10+ is Samsung's big-screen Android tablet for people who want a portable cinema and digital canvas without jumping into the iPad ecosystem. That 12.4-inch AMOLED display is the star of the show, and it's one of the best screens you can get on a tablet right now. You also get the S Pen in the box, a microSD slot for up to 1.5TB of extra storage, and an IP68 rating that means it can survive a dunk in the sink.

Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip and 12GB of RAM chew through games and split-screen multitasking without breaking a sweat. But it's not all smooth sailing. While most owners love the display and AI tricks, we've seen reports of app glitches and forced restarts that drag down the real-world reliability score. For pure media consumption and drawing, it's a beast. For business users who need rock-solid stability, there are some question marks.

If you need a tablet primarily for business productivity and rock-solid app stability, look elsewhere. The Surface Pro 11th Edition runs full Windows and handles desktop-grade software without the crash reports we're seeing here. Also, if you're deeply invested in the Apple ecosystem and rely on apps like Final Cut Pro or Sidecar, the iPad Air M4 will integrate far more smoothly.

The Galaxy Tab S10+ is a near-perfect entertainment and creativity tablet held back by some nagging software stability concerns. If you want a big, beautiful screen for streaming, drawing, and gaming, and you'll mostly use it at home on Wi-Fi, it's a fantastic choice. Just know that you might run into the occasional app crash, and if that kind of thing drives you nuts, you might want to wait for a software update or look at the iPad Air M4 instead.
