Performance
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 paired with 8GB of RAM handles multitasking and gaming without breaking a sweat. We were surprised by how well this two-year-old chip still holds up, landing in the 85th percentile for CPU performance. The 10090mAh battery is a tank too, ranking in the 90th percentile. You'll easily get through a full day of streaming, note-taking, and doomscrolling. The 128GB storage is a bit tight if you hoard movies or games, but it's expandable via microSD.

vs Competition
The iPad Pro M5 is faster and has better app support, but it costs three times as much. The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus has a bigger battery and a built-in kickstand, but its screen doesn't match Samsung's AMOLED. The Microsoft Surface Pro 11 runs full Windows, which is great for desktop apps, but it's heavier and pricier. For pure media consumption and note-taking, the Tab S8+ wins on value. If you need desktop software, go Surface. If you want the best app ecosystem, go iPad.

Value & Pricing
At $349 USD renewed, this is a steal. You're getting a flagship-tier screen, solid performance, and a stylus for less than half the price of a new iPad Pro. The trade-off is the shorter warranty and cosmetic wear. If you can live with a few scratches, this is the best value in tablets right now.

Overview
The Galaxy Tab S8+ is still one of the best Android tablets you can grab, especially at this renewed price. That 12.4-inch AMOLED screen is the star here, sitting in the 96th percentile for display quality. It's big, bright, and buttery smooth at 120Hz. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 keeps things snappy, and the included S Pen makes this a legit productivity and creativity tool. Just know you're buying a renewed unit, so expect some cosmetic wear and a shorter warranty.
Common Questions
Q: Does the renewed version come with the S Pen?
Yes, the S Pen is included even with renewed units. It's one of the best parts of this deal.
Q: Can I expand the storage?
Yep, there's a microSD slot. The 128GB internal storage is fine for most people, but you can add up to 1TB if you need more room for movies and games.
Q: Is the battery still good on a renewed unit?
Battery health varies on renewed devices, but the 10090mAh cell is huge. Most buyers report all-day battery life even with heavy use. Amazon's 90-day warranty covers you if you get a dud.
Who Should Skip This
If you need a tablet for serious desktop-class work, this isn't it. Go grab a Microsoft Surface Pro 11 instead. And if you're deep in the Apple ecosystem, the iPad Pro M5 is the better long-term investment despite the higher price.
Verdict
Buy it. The Galaxy Tab S8+ renewed is the best bang-for-your-buck tablet for media lovers and note-takers. The screen alone is worth the price of admission, and the S Pen makes it a productivity machine. Just don't expect a pristine device or long-term software support.
