Intel Xeon Gold 6256 12-core LGA3647
The 4.5GHz boost clock across 12 cores makes this 14nm Xeon stand out for latency-sensitive server tasks that benefit from high single-thread speed alongside moderate multi-threading. Its 33MB L3 cache and Socket 3647 compatibility provide a straightforward upgrade path for existing 2nd Gen Xeon infrastructure. This processor is best for IT administrators refreshing legacy servers that require strong per-core performance for lightly threaded enterprise applications.
