ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5090 SOLID OC White Edition 32GB GDDR7

The ZOTAC RTX 5090 SOLID OC White Edition is the fastest gaming card we've tested, period. It's quiet, looks great in white builds, and has 32GB of VRAM for future-proofing. Just make sure you have a 1000W PSU and room for a 330mm, 3.5-slot card.

This card is the absolute best right now for raw gaming performance. Our database puts it at the 100th percentile for rasterization, which means nothing else on the market touches it. 4K gaming is a breeze, ray tracing is a standout at the 91st percentile, and AI workloads land at the 97th percentile. The 32GB of VRAM is also best-in-class, so you won't be running out of memory anytime soon. The one weak spot is compute, which sits at a mediocre 67th percentile. For pure gaming and AI, though, this thing flies. DLSS 4.0 support is the cherry on top, pushing frame rates even higher in supported titles.

Against the ASUS ProArt RTX 5080 and Gigabyte AERO 5080, this Zotac is in a completely different performance class. The 5090's 32GB of VRAM and higher core count crush the 5080 in 4K and ray tracing. The MSI Ventus RTX 5070 Ti and PNY ARGB OC 5080 are also solid cards, but they're not in the same league for pure frame rates. The Sapphire NITRO+ is an AMD option that competes on price but can't match the 5090's ray tracing or DLSS 4.0 support. If you want the absolute best, the Zotac is the pick. If you want to save money, the 5080 cards are the smarter buy.

The price is all over the place depending on where you look. In Canada, we're seeing listings from CAD 3,900 to CAD 8,000, which is a wild spread. The CAD 3,900 listing is the obvious pick if you can find it in stock. In the US, it's going for USD 5,999, and in the UK it's GBP 6,428. This is a flagship card with flagship pricing, so 'value' is relative. You're paying a premium for the best gaming performance available, and for some people that's worth it. For everyone else, a 5080 or 5070 Ti will get you most of the way there for a lot less money.

The ZOTAC RTX 5090 SOLID OC White Edition is an absolute monster of a card. 32GB of GDDR7 on a 512-bit bus, 21,760 CUDA cores, and a boost clock of 2422MHz. This thing sits at the top of our rasterization charts, full stop. It's also one of the quietest high-end cards we've seen, which is a nice surprise given the 575W TDP.

It's big, it's heavy, and it wants a serious power supply. But if you're building a white-themed rig and want the best 4K gaming experience money can buy right now, this card delivers. Just be ready for the price tag and make sure your case has room for a 330mm, 3.5-slot behemoth.

Skip this if you're gaming at 1440p or don't need the absolute best frame rates. A 5080 or 5070 Ti will handle 1440p easily and save you a ton of money. Also skip it if your case is small or your power supply is under 1000W, because this card demands both space and juice.

This card is for people who want the best 4K gaming experience available and don't mind paying for it. The ZOTAC SOLID OC White Edition delivers top-tier performance, runs quiet, and looks great in a white build. The coil whine lottery is a minor annoyance, and the power supply requirement is a real consideration. But if you're already spending this much on a GPU, you probably have a beefy PSU anyway. Buy it if you want the best. Skip it if you're on a budget.
