• The GPU gap is massive: the Zephyrus packs an RTX 5080 with a 35,666 benchmark score while the ThinkPad's integrated Intel Graphics manages just 3,170. That's the difference between playing Cyberpunk at high settings and struggling with Minesweeper.
• Storage and memory aren't even close: 2TB SSD and 32GB RAM on the ASUS versus 512GB and 16GB on the Lenovo. You'll never worry about uninstalling games or closing Chrome tabs on the G14.
• The display is a different league: 2880px OLED on the ASUS versus 1920px IPS on the ThinkPad. Owners consistently rave about the G14's screen quality, calling it stunning.
• Real-world feedback matters here: the Zephyrus has 271 reviews at 4.7 stars with users praising build quality and battery life when tuned properly, though fan noise during gaming is a common gripe. The ThinkPad only has 4 reviews at 4.4 stars, so there's less real-world data to go on.
• Price reflects the gap: you're paying a premium for the ASUS's performance, while the ThinkPad is the budget-friendly option for basic productivity.
