ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 14" GA403WW-G14.R95080 Platinum White 2025
Microsoft Surface Laptop 13.8" 7 Platinum 2026
Grab the G14 if you want a genuinely portable gaming rig or creator machine that can handle AAA titles, heavy rendering, and AI workloads without breaking your back.
The Surface Laptop 7 is for students and office workers who prioritize all-day battery life, a bright screen for outdoor use, and a slim fanless design over raw performance.
Differenze chiave
- GPU performance is a massacre: the G14's RTX 5080 scores 35,666 vs the Surface's integrated Adreno at 59, so gaming and 3D work are basically impossible on the Surface.
- RAM and storage: the G14 packs 32GB RAM and a 2TB SSD, while the Surface gives you 16GB and 1TB, which matters for multitasking and large file libraries.
- Display trade-off: the G14 has a stunning 2880px OLED panel at 500 nits, but the Surface's IPS screen hits 600 nits, making it easier to read in direct sunlight.
- Real-world sentiment: G14 owners rave about build quality and the OLED display but complain about fan noise under load and Armoury Crate bloat, while the Surface's 8 reviews are too few to draw strong conclusions.
- Battery and portability: the Surface's Snapdragon chip sips power for all-day use, but the G14 needs tuning with G-Helper to get decent battery life, and even then it won't match the Surface.
