What Buyers Say
BenQ Zowie XL2566X+ 24" Black 2024
The BenQ XL2566X+ is a 540Hz TN monitor that delivers unmatched motion clarity for competitive FPS gaming, with many users praising its DyAc 2 technology and responsiveness. However, it requires significant tweaking for color accuracy and has poor viewing angles, and some units suffer from hardware defects like screen glitches or white screens. While it excels in fast-paced games like CS2 and Valorant, most reviewers recommend it only for professional or hardcore esports players, noting that OLED monitors offer better overall image quality at the same price.
Pros
- Unmatched motion clarity for FPS games
- Excellent DyAc 2 technology
- Very low input lag and response time
- Plug-and-play 540Hz/600Hz support
- Easy to set up with back ports
Cons
- Poor color accuracy out of the box
- Narrow viewing angles (TN panel)
- Hardware defects (glitch lines, white screen)
- Requires constant tweaking for different apps
- Expensive for the image quality
ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCDMG 26.5" BLACK 2025
The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27UCDMG is overwhelmingly praised as a top-tier gaming monitor, with users highlighting its stunning 4K QD-OLED picture quality, deep blacks, vibrant colors, and buttery-smooth 240Hz refresh rate. Verified buyers consistently call it the best monitor they've ever used, noting excellent build quality and responsiveness. Minor drawbacks include a glossy screen that can reflect light, potential text clarity issues due to the subpixel layout, and a lack of included VESA screws, but these are far outweighed by the exceptional gaming and media experience. The Neo Proximity Sensor and OLED Care features provide peace of mind against burn-in, making it a highly recommended investment for enthusiasts.
