What Buyers Say
Dell UltraSharp U2723QE 27" Black 2022
This Dell monitor is widely praised as an excellent alternative to the Apple Studio Display, offering crisp 4K resolution, accurate colors, and a sleek design with thin bezels at a fraction of the price. Users highlight its seamless USB-C connectivity with MacBooks, built-in KVM switch, and productivity-friendly features, though some note the lack of built-in speakers and occasional USB-C recognition issues after inactivity. Overall, it is considered a top choice for productivity and casual use, with minor drawbacks like 60Hz refresh rate and IPS glow in dark rooms.

LG UltraGear 27G850A-B 27" Black 2025
Users praise the LG 27" 4K monitor for its excellent image quality, fast refresh rates (up to 480Hz at 1080p), and good value for an IPS panel. However, several reviewers report serious issues with the overclock mode, black screen flickering, backlight uniformity problems, and unresponsive software for multi-monitor setups. While many find it a great gaming and productivity monitor, especially for those avoiding OLED, the bugs and reliability concerns prevent a higher overall recommendation.
