Key Differences

• GPU performance is a blowout: the G14's discrete RTX 5080 scores 26,326 on benchmarks versus the Dell's integrated Radeon 780M at 5,939, a 4.4x gap that makes the G14 the obvious pick for gaming or GPU-heavy work.
• The G14 doubles the Dell's RAM (32GB vs 16GB) and quadruples storage (2TB vs 512GB), so you won't be juggling files or closing tabs anytime soon.
• Display quality isn't close: the G14 has a 2880px OLED panel at 120Hz while the Dell makes do with a 1920px IPS screen at 60Hz, and real users specifically call out the G14's screen as stunning.
• The Dell wins on base clock speed (3.3 GHz vs 2.0 GHz) and has an NVMe SSD versus the G14's standard SSD, but those are small consolation prizes when everything else leans so hard toward the ASUS.
• Owner sentiment on the G14 is excellent at 4.7/5 across 242 reviews, with the main gripes being fan noise during gaming and Armoury Crate bloat, so expect to do a little tuning to get the best battery life.
