Key Differences

• CPU performance is not even close. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in the G14 scores 35,028 in multi-core benchmarks versus 16,891 for the HP's Core i5 13420H. That's over 2x the raw compute.
• Graphics are a different universe. The G14 packs an RTX 5080 with 16GB GDDR7 VRAM scoring 35,666, while the HP has integrated Vega 7 graphics scoring 16,890. The HP can handle light gaming, but the G14 runs modern AAA titles at high settings.
• Storage and RAM tell the same story. The G14 has 2TB SSD and LPDDR5X memory versus 1TB and DDR4 in the HP. Faster RAM, double the storage.
• Real-world feedback differs sharply. HP buyers consistently complain that the specs listed don't match what actually arrives, with different CPUs and GPUs showing up. G14 owners rave about build quality and the OLED display, with fan noise being the main gripe.
• The G14 scores 88 overall versus 53 for the HP. It wins every single use case category, from gaming (100 vs 70) to student life (86 vs 48). The HP only wins on clock frequency and VRAM type, which don't translate to real-world performance.
