What Buyers Say
Moondrop Starfield 2
The Moondrop Starfield II IEMs receive mixed feedback. Many users praise their build quality, metal shell, and clear sound, especially for female vocals and electric guitar. However, a recurring and serious issue involves the stock filters becoming clogged with moisture or debris, causing one earpiece to go silent, which frustrates several owners. The cable is also criticized for being uncomfortable over long periods, and some feel the value has decreased compared to newer competitors at the same price point.
Pros
- Excellent build quality with metal shell
- Clear and detailed sound
- Great for female vocals and electric guitar
- Comfortable fit for small ears
- Durable braided cable
Cons
- Stock filters clog with moisture and debris
- One earpiece goes silent due to filter issues
- Uncomfortable cable for long sessions
- Bright and peaky treble for some
- Bass is weak out of the box
