Apple MacBook Pro 14.2" M5 Silver 2025
ASUS X1404VA
Grab the MacBook Pro M5 if you're doing serious work like video editing, coding, or anything that needs real horsepower, and you want a display that's actually usable outdoors.
The Vivobook X1404VA is for budget buyers who just need a basic laptop for browsing, docs, and light schoolwork, and who still want old-school USB-A ports without dongles.
Ключевые различия
- The M5 chip scores 26,857 in multi-core benchmarks vs the i5 1334U's 13,052, so the MacBook is more than twice as fast for heavy workloads.
- The MacBook's display hits 1600 nits and 120Hz while the Vivobook manages just 250 nits at 60Hz, meaning the ASUS screen will look dim and choppy side by side.
- You get 1TB of storage and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM on the MacBook vs 512GB and 12GB of slower DDR4 on the Vivobook.
- The Vivobook has 3 USB-A ports and Wi-Fi 5, while the MacBook has zero USB-A ports but 3 USB-C ports and Wi-Fi 6E, so the ASUS wins on legacy connectivity but loses on wireless speed.
- Customer sentiment is telling: MacBook owners rave about performance and build quality (4.9 stars from 740 reviews), while Vivobook owners are more lukewarm at 4.4 stars from just 41 reviews.
