Apple MacBook Pro 14.2" M4 Max Silver 2024
Dell Latitude 14" 7400 Carbon 2018
Get the MacBook Pro M4 Max if you do heavy photo or video editing, 3D work, AI development, or anything that makes lesser laptops cry, and you want a machine that owners describe as flawless.
Grab the Dell Latitude 7400 if you need a dirt-cheap laptop for basic office work, web browsing, and light productivity, and you're okay rolling the dice on refurb quality control.
Principais diferenças
- The MacBook's M4 Max scores 43,903 in multi-core benchmarks versus 5,950 for the Dell's Core i5, a 7.4x gap that means the Mac finishes a 4K render before the Dell finishes opening the project file.
- The MacBook packs 64GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 4TB NVMe SSD, while the Dell ships with 16GB of DDR4 and a 256GB SSD, so the Mac can hold entire video projects in memory while the Dell struggles with a few dozen Chrome tabs.
- The Dell's 14-inch 1920x1080 60Hz display looks like a calculator screen next to the Mac's 3024x1964 120Hz panel, which matters if you stare at text or edit photos all day.
- Customer sentiment tells a story: Dell owners report inconsistent refurb quality with dead keys and batteries that won't charge, while MacBook owners have zero significant complaints and rave about performance and value.
- The Dell wins on price, typically around $300-400 refurbished versus $3,000+ for the MacBook, but you're buying a 2019 laptop with 4 cores against a 16-core monster that will still feel fast in 2030.
