Differenze chiave
- The G14 has a dedicated RTX 5080 GPU and scores 100 in gaming, while the EliteBook scores a 4. That's not a gap, that's a chasm. The HP can't run modern games at any playable framerate.
- Storage and RAM: the G14 gives you 2TB and 32GB, the HP gives you 1TB and 24GB. For a laptop in 2025, the HP's specs feel like they're from three years ago.
- The G14's OLED display is a huge deal. Owners consistently rave about it, and it's the kind of screen that makes everything from games to Netflix look dramatically better than the HP's standard panel.
- Real-world trade-off: G14 owners report fan noise during gaming and some bloatware from Armoury Crate. But they also say battery life is excellent once you tune it with G-Helper. The HP has no such tuning community because nobody's excited enough about it to bother.
- Price gap is massive. The G14 with an RTX 5080 runs around $3,099, while the EliteBook is closer to $430. You're paying for a completely different class of machine.
