Il Chromebook è per lo più apprezzato come un ottimo affare per l'uso quotidiano come compiti, film e navigazione web, con una buona durata della batteria e condizioni pari al nuovo anche per i modelli ricondizionati. Un utente però avverte che non è un vero laptop ma piuttosto un telefono Android, che si blocca e fatica con più applicazioni aperte, con prestazioni scarse con solo 4 GB di RAM. Nel complesso, va bene per attività leggere ma può deludere chi cerca più potenza.
