AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-core AM5
88 out of 100 high confidence 53 reviews
The AMD Ryzen 9 7900X is widely praised for its exceptional performance in gaming, content creation, and multitasking, with many users noting significant upgrades from older CPUs. While it runs hot by default, most reviewers find that adjusting BIOS settings like PBO and thermal limits resolves this, and the CPU remains stable and powerful. The lack of an included cooler and the need for an AM5 motherboard and DDR5 RAM are common considerations, but overall sentiment is very positive.
