Das Viltrox 23 mm f/1,4 für Fuji X-Bajonett wird für seine Schärfe, schnellen und leisen Autofokus sowie die hervorragende Verarbeitungsqualität zu einem günstigen Preis gelobt. Nutzer bestätigen, dass es 40-MP-Sensoren gut auflöst und ein schönes Bokeh erzeugt, vermissen jedoch einen Blendenring mit Rastungen und weisen auf das höhere Gewicht hin. Vereinzelt gab es Probleme mit einem falschen Gegenlichtblende und einem Exemplar, das weniger scharf als das Viltrox 35 mm Air war.
