Apple MacBook Pro 14.2" M5 Silver 2025
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 14" GA403WW-G14.R95080 Platinum White 2025
Pick the MacBook Pro M5 if you're a video editor or photographer who needs that 1600-nit Mini-LED display for color-critical work and values silent operation over raw GPU muscle.
Grab the ASUS if you want a genuinely portable gaming laptop that can also handle serious creative work, and you don't mind some fan noise when you're pushing it hard.
Differenze chiave
- The RTX 5080 in the ASUS scores 35666 on GPU benchmarks vs 8452 for the MacBook's integrated graphics. That's a 4.2x gap, which means the G14 runs modern games at high settings while the MacBook struggles with anything beyond light gaming.
- Storage is a massive differentiator: 2TB SSD on the ASUS vs 512GB on the MacBook. You'll fill that MacBook drive fast if you edit video or keep a game library, and Apple charges a fortune for upgrades.
- The MacBook's display gets way brighter at 1600 nits vs 500 nits on the G14, and it's Mini-LED vs OLED. For HDR content and outdoor use, the MacBook wins clearly, though OLED fans will prefer the ASUS for contrast and color pop.
- Owners consistently praise the G14's build quality and battery life when tuned with G-Helper, but fan noise during gaming is the recurring gripe. The MacBook runs silent, which matters if you work in shared spaces.
